Fire Damages North Salem Home On Thanksgiving NORTH SALEM, N.Y. – A chimney fire caused damage to a home in North Salem Thanksgiving Day. No one in the home on Baxter Road was injured. Croton Falls firefighters who responded encountered encountered heavy fire on the roof of the wood-frame home.
