Squirrels Try To Thwart Christmas At Norwalk City Hall Tree NORWALK, Conn. -- Not everyone is in the Christmas spirit – squirrels have chewed through several strands of lights on the Norwalk City Hall Christmas tree, reports The Hour. South Salem Man Charged With DWI In Route 123 Stop LEWISBORO, N.Y. – A South Salem man was arrested Saturday for aggravated DWI while driving on state Route 123, reports the New York State Police. Thomas P. Larkin, 43, was found to be intoxicated after police were dispatched to a one-car auto collision on Route 123. Larkin provided a breath sample that showed his blood alcohol content was .27 percent, more than three times the legal limit of intoxication, officials say. Larkin was issued an appearance ticket directing him to appear before the Town of Lewisboro Court Monday, according to officials.

John Gomes, the city’s former deputy chief administrator in the early years of exiting Mayor Bill Finch’s administration, will be acting chief administrative officer, the Post said. Paramus Catholic Hires Dan Sabella As Head Football Coach PARAMUS, N.J. -- Paramus Catholic has hired Dan Sabella as their assistant director of athletics and head football coach. Coach Sabella was the three-year starting quarterback at Bogota High School and was selected as All County in his senior year. He went on to start at quarterback for three years at Monmouth University where he set many school passing records and earned a bachelor’s degree. Alert Issued For Missing Teenage Girl Who Could Be In Area A New York State Missing Child Alert has been issued relating to the disappearance of Samantha McNeil age 16, from Smithtown, N.Y. McNeil is white, has black hair and blue eyes, is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds. She was last seen at her residence on South Plaisted Avenue in Smithtown at midnight Monday. Authorities say she is suicidal. Anyone with information as to her whereabouts is asked to call the Suffolk County Police Department- Headquarters at 631-854-8400 or call 911.
