3 Injured In Car, SEPTA Bus Crash Three people were injured in a Chester County crash between a car and SEPTA bus early Wednesday morning, authorities said. Fire crews found a SEPTA bus severely dented on its front end, with the windows cracked, just before 6 a.m. at 291 Highland Ave., according to a Facebook post by the City of Chester Bureau of Fire. Delaware County Duo In Stolen Car Hit SEPTA During Police Pursuit A Delaware County duo were in police custody after crashing a stolen SUV into a SEPTA bus Wednesday night, 6abc Action News reports. Footage from the scene shows a Lexus SUV with heavy front-end damage against the back of the bus at MacDade Boulevard. Authorities pursued the suspects until 7 p.m., when the pair collided with the bus near the MacDade Mall in Holmes, 6abc says. Bucks County Family Displaced By Weekend Fire A Bucks County family was displaced in a fire that ravaged their home over the weekend. The blaze broke out at 2401 North 5th St. in East Rockhill Township around 8:45 a.m. Sunday, according to a Facebook post by Perkasie Fire Company No. 1. Firefighters rescued two people from the home while four additional engines and a tanker task force arrived at the scene. The cause of the fire and injuries were unknown. The Bucks County Fire Marshals Office was investigating. The Perkasie Fire Company did not immediately return Daily Voice's request for comment.

Chester County Man Facing Gun Charges Following Foot Pursuit, Police Say A Chester County man is in custody after he allegedly tossed his gun and fled from police on Friday, authorities said. Officers were patrolling the area of 9th and Yarnall Street when they heard gunshots south of their location, around 11 a.m., according to Steven Gretsky, City of Chester Police Commissioner. Chester County Man Facing Decades Behind Bars For String Of Home Burglaries A 36-year-old Chester County man is facing decades behind bars for his involvement in a string of home burglaries in which he and his accomplices stole $35,000 worth of items, authorities said. Police: Chester County SUV Seller Scammed Victim Out Of $3,800 A 35-year-old Chester County woman is facing charges for scamming an alleged victim out of $3,800 after agreeing to sell them an SUV then never providing it, authorities said. Erica Hartford, of Paoli, took the money from the victim last fall then failed to repay him after having been given time to do so, West Chester police said. Chester Construction Worker Surrenders After Collecting $11K For Incomplete Jobs, Police Say The owner of a Chester County construction company surrendered to police after collecting $11,000 from a resident for work that was never completed, authorities said. The 69-year-old victim told police he gave Glenolden-based Lane General Contracting owner Joseph Ronald Lane IV an $11,000 down-payment in October 2020, according to the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department. PA Man Refusing To Leave Woman's Driveway Had Rifle, Police Say A Bucks County man was in custody after authorities found him sitting in a woman's driveway with an AR rifle, authorities said. Police responded to a threats complaint at Tinari Drive where a woman said that a man she knows, Austin Carter, refused to leave her driveway, Northampton Township police said. When officers approached Carter, they saw the firearm leaning on the center console area, police said.
