Eastchester HS Celebrates Winter With Snow Ball Dance EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – Eastchester High School is hosting the Snow Ball winter dance Saturday from 7-10 p.m. Live entertainment, desserts and snacks, dancing, a photo booth, and the chance to compete for a Hoverboard will be available. A winter dance king and queen will be presented from each grade. Attendees are asked to wear black, white or silver.  Tickets are $10. Voting and ticket sales will take place during lunch periods, starting Monday.

Car Crashes Into Tree On White Plains Road In Trumbull TRUMBULL, Conn. – The Trumbull Volunteer Fire Company responded to a one-car accident early Saturday morning after a car crashed into a tree in Trumbull, according to the fire company. The accident happened at approximately 3:48 a.m. Saturday morning on White Plains Road at the Route 25 exit ramp, fire officials said. Firefighters arrived to find a single car against a tree and the driver, who had already exited the vehicle. The car was towed, and no hazards were reported, according to officials.

RYE, N.Y. -- A 51-year-old man is in critical condition after being struck by two vehicles in Rye on Sunday evening. Rye police said the pedesrian, visiting from the United Kingdom, was crossing Purchase Street at Cedar Street at about 6:30 p.m. .when he was hit by a southbound vehicle driven by a 65-year-old female who is a Rye resident. The pedestrian was also struck by a vehicle traveling northbound by a 78-year-old female who is a Rye Brook resident, police said.
