Carmel Man Charged With DWI While Driving Wrong Way Upstate CHATHAM, N.Y. – A Carmel man was charged with DWI after state police pulled him over for driving the wrong way on Interstate 90 early Monday morning, reports the New York State Police. Brendan A. Griffith, 25, was driving a Toyota Camry east in the westbound lanes on I-90 between exits B1 and B2 of the Berkshire Spur about 2:52 a.m. Police pulled Griffith over before any incidents occurred, according to the report.
