She has a bachelor's degree in English from Stony Brook University and a Master's degree in publishing from Pace University. Kids At Trinity School In New Rochelle Create Tower From Straws NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- During STEM classes, first- and second-grade boys and girls at Trinity Elementary School in New Rochelle were challenged to build a tower out of straws.It was a struggle in the beginning trying to connect the straws together but they were able to figure out a technique. They were later allowed to use a strip of tape, which made it a bit easier -- as long as they could make that strip of tape last. Victor, Retired East Fishkill Police Dog, Dies EAST FISHKILL, N.Y. -- The East Fishkill Police Department announces the passing of retired K-9 Victor. Victor served the Police Department and Town of East Fishkill residents for 10 years, from 2003 until his retirement in January of 2013.  He was 15 years old and served out his retired years with his handler, Police Officer Ralph Bertoldi.  Victor continued to be a visible presence around town and many children liked him.  The Fishkill Police Department sent condolences to Bertoldi and his family.
