Ridership On Metro-North Railroad Breaks Record In 2015 New York transit officials say ridership increased on the nation’s two largest commuter railroad systems last year, according to a story on lohud.com. There were a record number of riders on the Metro-North Rail Road in 2015. John L. Tishman, Master Builder From Westchester, Dies At 90 BEDFORD, N.Y. -- John L. Tishman, a master builder of the 20th century whose firm, Tishman Realty and Construction Company, constructed buildings throughout Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles and New York, died Saturday at his home in Bedford. He was 90.
