She has a bachelor's degree in English from Stony Brook University and a Master's degree in publishing from Pace University. She married with four teenage children and is a competitive runner and avid exerciser.

Irvington's Main Street School Names Winners Of Annual Spelling Bee IRVINGTON, N.Y. -- Main Street School in Irvington hosted its ninth annual spelling bee for fourth- and fifth-graders.The spelling bee was held on Jan. 13.  Twenty finalists in each grade battled it out on the auditorium stage to claim the title of the school’s best spellers.  After nine rounds, the judges called the fourth-grade contest a tie and gave the winning title to Tiernan Cain and Katherine Fisher, while Molly Martin was named runner-up.
