Amenia Man Charged With DWI In Route 22 Stop AMENIA, N.Y. -- An Amenia man was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated after being stopped on Route 22 on Sunday, Jan. 24, according to New York State Police. Marshall Lovell, 24, was pulled over for failing to maintain his lane of travel. Troopers suspected Lovell of being intoxicated, police said.  Lovell provided a breathalyzer sample that yielded a blood alcohol content of .19 percent, more than twice the legal limit. He is scheduled to appear in Amenia Court on Tuesday, Feb. 2, police said.

American Dream Meadowlands Developer To Begin Selling $1 Billion In Bonds EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The owners of American Dream Meadowlands will begin selling $1 billion in government bonds to help finance the shopping and entertainment center in East Rutherford, according to NorthJersey.com. $350 million in tax-free bonds will be issued by The New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority followed by another shot of $675 million in municipal bonds issued by East Rutherford, NorthJersey.com reported.  The bonds have yet to go on sale, though that is expected to happen in the first quarter of the year, NorthJersey.com said.  Click here to read the NorthJersey.com art…

Meadowlands Museum Offers Chocolate Tasting RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Rutherford's Meadowlands Museum will host its annual chocolate tasting, and showcase of the current exhibits of the museum on Friday, Feb. 5 . Attendees will sample chocolate delicacies from area businesses, meet up with friends and explore the current exhibits at the Meadowlands Museum.  Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for museum members and seniors, $10 for students.  Tickets are limited.
