Construction Worker Confesses To Stealing Packages From Fairfield Home WESTPORT, Conn. -- A construction worker was charged with stealing packages from a Westport home during the holidays, according to the Westport News. Authorities were able to track down Sidney Nelson after surveillance footage recorded his vehicle in the driveway of the home the package was stolen from, the News said. Westchester Elementary Schools Rank Among State's Best WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Several Westchester County Elementary Schools were rated in the top 100 in New York State, according to education website Niche. State Helps Mount Vernon With Snow Removal MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- The New York State Department of Public Works has deployed vehicles to Mount Vernon to help clean up snow following the recent storm, according to News 12 Hudson Valley. The equipment is designed to pick up snow and deposit it in a truck so it can be carted away. Mount Vernon had more than a foot of snow fall on Saturday, News 12 Hudson Valley reported. Fishkill Man Gets 8 Years In Prison For Burglary FISHKILL, N.Y. -- A Fishkill man was sentenced to 8 years in prison for burglary, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.
