Stamford Man Charged With Setting Neighbor's Front Steps On Fire STAMFORD, Conn. -- Stamford Police charged a 71-year-old man with arson  on Tuesday after he reported set his neighbor's front steps on fire in November, according to the Stamford Advocate.  Authorities obtained a surveillance video from a neighbor and interviewed others to obtain an arrest warrant for Ralph Vitti. Stamford Attorney Charged With Stealing Former Employee's Identity STAMFORD, Conn. -- A suspended Stamford lawyer was charged with stealing the identity of a former employee to open a cable account for himself on Tuesday, according to the Stamford Advocate. Police were notified by the victim when she received a bill from Frontier Communications in her name. Authorities were able to trace the computer John Evans, 59, of Norwalk, the Stamford Advocate reported.  Evans has been under suspension since 2010 for keeping money owed to a client, the Stamford Advocate said.  Click here to read the Stamford Advocate article.

Rhinebeck State Police Charge Man With Criminal Sex Act With Boy RHINEBECK, N.Y. -- New York State Police in Rhinebeck charged a Woodstock man with engaging in a criminal sex act with a minor. Thomas Crowe, 64, met an underage male victim in Rhinebeck and Clinton on three different occasions between Jan. 1 and Feb. 20.
