Dutchess Boces Culinary Students Learn Basics Of Military Cooking POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Dutchess BOCES culinary students learned in the ins and outs of Military MRE, or meals ready to eat, Wednesday during a crash course in military cooking given by members of the New York Army National Guard, reports the Poughkeepsie Journal. Students were able to tour a mobile kitchen typically used by the military in the field, then were paired into teams to create tasty dishes using MRE as their main ingredient, according to the report. I-95 Closing Overnight Between Two Exits MAMARONECK, N.Y. – Closures will take place overnight on I-95 (New England Thruway) northbound between exit 10 (Gun Hill Road) and exit 11 (Bartow Avenue), in the Bronx, starting Friday at 11 p.m. until 6 a.m. Saturday. Motorists can expect periodic traffic stoppages during this time to allow for placement of new sign structures and removal of the existing structures. Stoppages are expected to last no more than 15 minutes each. In case of inclement weather, the work may be postponed.
