William Dill, 91, Of Wallington
WALLINGTON, N.J. – William Dill of Wallington died Friday, Dec. 4. He was 91.
Dill was born Feb. 14, 1924, in Passaic, to John and Mary (Malik) Dill. In January 1944, he married Mary Ryback in Forest County Mississippi. He served in the U.S. Army from 1943 until October 1945, and earned four Bronze Stars for his combat infantry service in Normandy, Northern France, the Rhineland and central Europe.
In 1950, the Dills moved to Wallington. He worked for the USPS and after he retired worked in the Wallington Schools as a custodian. He and Mary also had been members of the Wallington Seniors…
Conrad J. Ham, 84, Millbrook Resident
MILLBROOK, N.Y. – Conrad J. Ham, 84, died Friday, Dec. 4 at his home.
A lifelong resident of Millbrook, he was born May 21, 1931, in Poughkeepsie, to J. Frederick and Bernice Benham Ham. Ham graduated from Millbrook High School in 1948 and received an associate’s degree in agriculture from Cornell University in 1950. He operated the family farm in Millbrook from 1950 to 1967 and then worked as a heavy equipment operator for Wiltse Brothers of Poughkeepsie until 1987. He also owned and managed Washington Gravel Inc. until 2002.

World's Largest White Deer Herd, Located Upstate, In Peril
The rare white deer living and breeding for years at the former Seneca Army Depot in Seneca County face an uncertain future when the U.S. Army vacates the grounds in 2016, reports the Democrat and Chronicle.
The Seneca County Industrial Development Agency (IDA) does not have the capability to maintain the 24 miles of fencing that protects the white deer in the 7,000-acre facility, and is selling the depot, according to the report.
Seneca White Deer, Inc., (SWD), who so far has raised $270,000, has a goal of raising $2 million and plans to bid on the depot when the sale begins in December.…
