FISHKILL, N.Y. – Kenneth J. Shaw, 85, formerly of Cortlandt Manor, died Monday, Dec. 14.
He was born April 14, 1930, in Peekskill, and owned SAS Sheet Metal Inc. in Peekskill.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Regina (Shutt) Shaw; children Richard (Danni) Shaw; Jean Marie (Joseph) Guardino; Nancy (Wayne) Dunn; Kenneth (Kris) Shaw; Steven Shaw; Christine (Michael) Reilly; Eric (Andrea) Shaw; and Jon (Kory) Shaw; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

HAWTHORNE, N.Y. – Josephine Vieira (Jo Mary), 65, of Hawthorne, died Thursday, Dec.17.
She was born Nov.2, 1950, to William and Josephine Woodruff in the Bronx.
She is survived by her daughters, Christina (Eric) Babcock of Yorktown Heights; and Katie Vieira of Yonkers; and three grandchildren.
There will be no visiting hours. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church in Hawthorne. Interment will take place at All Souls Cemetery in Pleasantville.
Danbury Suspect Arrested After Shoeless Chase Through Fairfield
FAIRFIELD, Conn. – A Danbury man wanted for multiple failure-to-appear warrants was arrested Friday morning with the help of police officers from Fairfield, Bridgeport, Norwalk and Danbury, as well as Bail Enforcement, after being located in his brother’s apartment, according to the Fairfield Police Department.
Jevon Pegues, 22, of Old Mill Road, Danbury, was wanted on multiple failure-to-appear warrants, police said.

Pawling Man Charged With Assaulting, Injuring Trooper During Traffic Stop
PAWLING, N.Y. – A Pawling man was arrested on multiple charges Thursday after an incident in which he assaulted a state trooper during a traffic stop, according to New York State Police.
Edward C. See, Jr., 65, was stopped in the area of Summit Avenue and Willets Drive after he failed to use his turn signal. Following an interview conducted by the arresting officer, See was found to be intoxicated, police said. While attempting to place See into custody, he actively resisted arrest and caused injury to the trooper, officials say.
