Donald Trump Not Fit To Be President, Majority Of Americans Say President Donald Trump, who owns plenty of properties in the Hudson Valley, is not fit to be president, according to a new national Quinnipac poll. Those polled said by a 56-42 percent margin that Trump is wnot fit to serve as chief executive. Only 36 percent of those polled approve of the job he is doing. The poll was aligned on party lines, with 94 percent of Democrats and 14 percent of Republicans saying he was not fit to be president. Man Fails To Appear In Yorktown Court  A Sleepy Hollow man was arrested in the Bronx by Yorktown Police after he failed to appear in court. Samuel Barbuto was arrested Monday at Bronx Central Booking where he was being held on unrelated charges. He failed to appear in court in August to answer charges of driving with a suspended license.  Barbuto was remanded to Westchester County Jail on $500 bail and is due back in court on Oct. 3.

Man Tries To Rob Yorktown Jewelers Through Adjacent Barber Shop, Police Say A man was arrested in Yorktown early Tuesday morning after he attempted to break into Yorktown Jewelers at by using an adjacent barbershop at the Roma Building on 2008 Crompond Road. Paul Shkreli, 44, of Yonkers was arrested and charged with two counts of burglary in the third degree, Class D felonies. Police received an anonymous call about a possible burglary at 3:44 a.m. and found the front door to Yorktown Barber Shop, adjacent to Yorktown Jewelers to be unsecured.  Shkreli was seen inside the barbershop and was taken into custody without incident, police said.
