She has a bachelor's degree in English from Stony Brook University and a Master's degree in publishing from Pace University. She married with four teenage children and is a competitive runner and avid exerciser.

Rowayton Resident Teaching U.S. Coast Guard Captain's Course In Norwalk NORWALK, Conn. -- Rowayton resident Capt. Chris Kelly will be teaching the U.S. Coast Guard Exam “Express” Captain’s Course starting Monday at the Rex Marine Center in South Norwalk. The course is open to experienced boaters and is every Monday and Thursday night for three weeks.  The tuition of $395 includes all forms, books and materials.
