One Firefighter Hurt After Blaze At Auto Repair Shop: Newark PD
A firefighter was injured following a fire at an auto repair shop in Newark on the morning of Monday, April 14. At 9:22 a.m., Newark firefighters responded to Gibson Foreign Auto Repair on a call of a vehicle on fire inside the business, Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda said. The fire was declared under control at 10:52 a.m., Miranda said. One firefighter was transported to a nearby hospital for an ankle injury, Miranda said.
