At 7:32 a.m., Cassandra Battaglia was operating a Kia passenger vehicle on Route 78 west in Bloomsbury Borough when the vehicle traveled off the roadway to the left and struck a tree, Christopher Postorino, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said Battaglia was pronounced dead at the scene, Postorino said.
