Motorcyclist Killed In Crash With Ford F-150: Bridgewater PD
A 29-year-old Somerset man was killed in a crash in Bridgewater Sunday, Aug. 23, authorities said.
At 4:12 p.m., officers responded to Finderne Avenue and Eat Main Street after an Ford F-150, driven by a 68-year-old Somerville man, attempted to make a left turn onto East Main Street and turned directly into the path of the motorcycle, Bridgewater police said.
The motorcycle struck the passenger side of the vehicle, causing the motorcyclist, who was not identified by police, to be ejected, officers said.

A Rockland County man is behind bars after an 18-year-old woman told police she had been repeatedly sexually assaulted by him when she was a young child, authorities said.
Freddy Chicaiza-Quinde, age 44, of Suffern, was arrested on Wednesday, Aug. 19, following an investigation, the Spring Valley Police Department announced on Monday, Aug. 24.
The investigation began on Wednesday, Aug. 12, when the woman reported that an adult man had sexually assaulted her on multiple occasions when she was 8, police said.

Two boys threw large rocks, sticks, and logs onto the US 30 Bypass damaging at least 17 vehicles and injuring two people, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Monday, Aug. 24.
The boys threw the debris onto the highway just east of Airport Road in Valley Township, Chester County during the evening hours of Wednesday, Aug. 19, and Friday, Aug. 21, according to state police.
Troopers have identified 17 vehicles that were damaged after being struck by the debris, police said. Two people suffered non-life-threatening injuries when their vehicle was hit.

A 29-year-old man was shot and killed in Trenton Sunday, Aug. 23, authorities said.
At 11:35 p.m., officers responded to 629 Whittaker Ave. and found the man with a gunshot wound, Trenton police said. The man, who was not identified by police, was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
