A motorcycling couple who shared 14 years together are being remembered after they were killed in a head-on Pennsylvania crash allegedly caused when a New Jersey driver became distracted by a bug that flew into her vehicle.
Miranda Sue Wormuth, 30, and her "lifelong partner," Anthony Myles Sones, 34, died in the Wednesday, Aug. 12 crash on Carson Hill Road in Brady Township, Clearfield County, according to their obituaries and as previously reported by Daily Voice.

Tornado Watch Issued In PA, NJ, Delaware As 75 MPH Winds Blow Across Region
A tornado watch has been issued across a large portion of the Mid-Atlantic as potentially dangerous storms threaten the region Thursday afternoon and evening.
The watch is in effect until 10 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 20, across parts of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC, according to the National Weather Service.
The watch area includes the Philadelphia region and stretches south through Baltimore, Washington, DC, and much of the Eastern Shore, as shown on the National Weather Service map.
