Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Fairfield County Woman, 40, Sentenced To Prison For Two Fraud Schemes A 40-year-old Stratford woman has been sentenced to 41 months in federal prison after her conviction in two fraud schemes, according to the U.S. Department of Justice United States Attorney in Connecticut. U.S. Attorney John H. Durham announced on Tuesday that Rachael Alexander, also known as Rachael Vierling, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Janet Bond Arterton in New Haven.  Judge Arterton ordered Alexander to pay restitution totaling nearly $443,808. $14.7M Will Be Spent To Rehab I-84 Bridge In Two-Year Project The New York State Bridge Authority awarded a $14.7 million contract to rehabilitate the Interstate 84 bridge over Route 9W in the Town of Newburgh. The project will affect I-84 motorists using the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge for two years. A state contract with Castleton-based A. First Woman Named Metro-North President Catherine Rinaldi has been named the first female president of Metro-North Railroad.  Rinaldi, has served as acting president of Metro-North since July 2017, and previously was Metro-North’s executive vice president, beginning in 2015.  On Wednesday, Feb. 21 she was officially named president.  She replaces Joe Giulietti who resigned last July after three years leading the railroad.
