Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Suspect Caught After Newtown Bank Robbery On Monday afternoon, Feb. 26, Newtown Police responded to a bank robbery in progress at the Newtown Union Savings Bank on Church Hill Road. Narcan Used To Rescue Wallkill Woman, 24, Who Overdosed Wallkill Sgt. Daniel Ward and Police Officer Daniel Graham responded to an  Emergency Medical Services call  earlier this month at a residence on Meadow Lakes Drive.   Upon arrival, the officers discovered a 24-year-old female from the Town of Wallkill unconscious on a bedroom floor. The victim was unresponsive and demonstrating signs of an overdose.
