Man Surrenders After 10-Hour Standoff With Police In Wappinger WAPPINGER, N.Y. - - A man was arrested and charged with theft of government money following a 10-hour standoff with police in his Pine Ridge Drive home on Thursday. Westchester's Carol Conklin-Spillane Eager To Join Common Core Task Force SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. -- Sleepy Hollow High School principal Carol Conklin-Spillane has a big job ahead of her. Conklin-Spillane was one of 15 people named to Gov. Andrew Cuomo's Common Core Task Force. The panel is meeting in New York City for the first time next week. Former Sleepy Hollow Resident Joe Godfrey Debuts Off-Broadway Play SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. -- Joe Godfrey, who grew up in Sleepy Hollow, is opening his new Off-Broadway play will keep audience members guessing.
