North Haledon Councilman Starts New Outreach Program NORTH HALEDON, N.J. -- North Haledon Councilman Michael Galluccio will meet with residents one-on-one in his office on Sunday, Jan. 24. Residents are welcome to discuss local issues or offer suggestions to Galluccio between 10 a.m. and noon. Galluccio plans to hold the one-on-one meetings every third Thursday of the month moving forward. Borough Hall is located at 103 Overlook Ave.

Weapons, Including Semi-Automatic, Seized In Wappingers Falls Raid WAPPINGERS FALLS, N.Y. -- A Wappingers Falls man is facing multiple weapons charges after New York State Police seized two loaded handguns from his apartment on Friday, Jan. 15, according to officials. Authorities executed a search warrant for a narcotics investigation on the Mill Street apartment of Savata M. Monroe, 42, and discovered a revolver and a semi-automatic pistol, both loaded, police said. Monroe was charged with two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He was remanded to Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $75,000 cash bail or $150,000 bond, police said.
