Franklin Lakes Recycling Options Expanded To Clothing FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. -- The Borough of Franklin Lakes is now offering textile recycling at the Department of Public works recycling center. Residents can place old clothes, shoes, sheets, towels in any condition from nearly new to old and damaged in the bins.  The Borough will receive payment, currently $100 per ton from Planet Aid for the textiles, potentially generating annual revenues of $20,000.  Planet Aid will provide receipts for the clothing you place in the bins. State Police Investigate Courthouse Shooting In Bridgeport BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- State Police are investigating a reported shooting that took place on Thursday outside of the Fairfield County Courthouse on Main Street in Bridgeport, according to CT Post. A bullet hole was discovered in a fifth floor window at approximately 5:30 p.m. Jurors had been deliberating a murder case in that room during the day, CT Post reported.  State Police are checking surveillance footage from surrounding buildings to help with the investigation, CT Post said.  Click here to read the CT Post article.

The Quantum Endowment Fund boasted $900 million in net gains last year and a total of $42.8 billion in gains since the fund's inception in 1973.
