Rockland Residents Warned To Be Cautious On Ice ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation is warning anglers about potentially hazardous ice conditions on local bodies of water. Ice began forming late this year and is not as thick as it typically would be in early February. Westchester Varsity Girls Basketball Coach Ejected Before Game Starts HARRISON, N.Y. -- The coach of the Harrison girls varsity basketball team was issued two technical fouls and ejected from his game before it even tipped off Friday, according to lohud.com.   Louis Kail was issued the technicals during the junior varsity game while questioning player safety after one player was elbowed in the face and another had her eye scratched, lohud.com reported.  Per Section 1 rules, Kail will have to sit out one game and was required to leave the premises as a result of the technical fouls, lohud.com said.  Click here to read the lohud.com article.

The Black Maria Film Festival Is Coming To Mahwah MAHWAH, N.J. -- Ramapo College in Mahwah will host the 35th annual Black Maria Film and video Festival on Friday, Feb. 12. Englewood Nature Center Has Winter Camp For Kids ENGLEWOOD, N.J. -- Flat Rock Brook Nature Center in Englewood will host a winter camp for kids from Feb. 16 through Feb.19  Campers will get the chance to explore all aspects of winter, complete cool activities, and play fun nature games. Cresskill Considers New Advisory Program For Social, Academic Issues CRESSKILL, N.J. -- Cresskill school officials may create a new program that would help teachers support students facing social and academic issues, according to NorthJersey.com. The proposed program would have 12-15 students in a group setting discuss questions and concerns. Lyndhurst Recreation Department Selling Tickets To Broadway Show LYNDHURST, N.J. -- The Lyndhurst Department of Parks and Recreation is selling tickets to the Broadway performance of "Something Rotten" on Wednesday, May 18. Tickets are for orchestra seating and includes transportation for $102.  "Something Rotten" is a story of two brothers who are desperate to write a hit play but are stuck in the shadow of William Shakespeare.  There is a limit of four tickets per person.
