Police Kill Fox That Attacked Stamford Woman STAMFORD, Conn. -- Stamford authorities killed a fox after it attacked a woman and chased another family on Thursday, according to the Stamford Advocate.  The woman was walking with her infant son on Country Club Road when the fox began chasing her. Tappan Zee Bridge Lane Closures Take Effect Construction on the new Tappan Zee Bridge will cause lane closures on the southbound side of the bridge on Friday and Saturday.One right will be closed on Friday, June 24 starting at 8 p.m. A second right lane will close from 9 p.m. on Friday until 5 a.m. on Saturday. Construction will include the beginning of the final phase of construction for a New York State Thruway Authority maintenance dock near the new bridge's Rockland landing.
