Truck Containing Power Line Worker Suspended In Air Struck By DUI Driver In PA: Cops A 24-year-old man was drunk when he struck a work-bucket truck containing a worker 20 feet in the air last September in Pennsylvania, authorities said. The worker was operating on power lines when he was struck by Ramon Lopez Jr., of East Petersburg, on Sept. 10 around 1:10 p.m. on the 300 block West Swartzville Roa in Denver, East Cocalico police said. 8 Students OD On Fentanyl Days Apart In Loudoun County: Sheriff Authorities are investigating a string of overdoses at a Loudoun County high school. New information from the county sheriff's office reveals eight students suffered opioid related overdoses at Park View High School in Sterling, seven of which happened in the last three weeks. Four of the overdoses occurred in the school, three of which required the administration of Narcan, the sheriff's office said. Two of those required CPR by school personnel. 16-Year-Old Dead In Lehigh County Crash: Coroner A 16-year-old boy was killed in a crash near a Lehigh County high school on Tuesday, Oct. 31, officials said. The boy was traveling in a vehicle the two-car crash at North Street and Cedar Crest Boulevard near the Emmaus High Schoo, just before 3 p.m., Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio said. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene and an autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 1.

Overturned Dump Truck Closes NJ Bridge Indefinitely An overturned dump truck has closed a Hunterdon County bridge indefinitely. The dump truck ran off the roadway on Iron Bridge Road in Bethlehem Township, around 10:40 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 30, New Jersey State Police Detective I Jeffrey Lebron said. The driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to an area hospital. The bridge on Iron Bridge Road sustained structural damage and will remain closed until repairs are completed.
