Man Shot Dead On Trenton Sidewalk Authorities are investigating after a man was shot and killed on a Trenton sidewalk Friday morning, Nov. 24. It happened on the first block of Oliver Avenue around 6:30 p.m. The victim, who was not identified, was taken to Capital Heath Regional Medical Center and pronounced dead. The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating a shooting homicide. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing. Sudden Death Of 'MVP' Police Detective Greg Wilson Shakes NJ Town The Franklin Township (Somerset County) Police Department is mourning the loss of one of its own. Detective Greg Wilson died on Wednesday evening, Nov. 22, at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township, his obituary says. He was 47 years old. “Greg was one of our MVPs,” said Franklin Township Director of Public Safety, Quovella Maeweather. “He is definitely a part of our family and an intricate part of our department. Motorcyclist, 20, Dead In Lehigh Valley Thanksgiving Crash A 20-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a Lehigh County crash on Thanksgiving, officials said. 5 Hospitalized In Overnight I-295 Crash Involving Tree: State Police Two people were seriously injured and three others hurt in a crash on I-295 early Friday, Nov. 24 in Gloucester County, police said. A Honda was heaving north when the driver lost directional control near milepost 16.6 in Greenwich Township at 2 a.m., New Jersey State Police Trooper Troy McNair said. The car ran off the road and struck a tree leading a 72- and 72-year-old pair, of Willingboro, seriously injured, McNair said. Three others suffered minor injuries. All occupants were taken to an area hospital. The crash remains under investigation.

Black Friday Bomb Threat Sends American Dream Shoppers Scrambling A bomb threat briefly evacuated the American Dream mall in East Rutherford Friday morning, Nov. 24. Homeowner Kills Thanksgiving Burglar In Philadelphia: Police A Philadelphia resident shot and killed a burglar on Thanksgiving, police said. The invasion happened on the 6100 block of City Avenue at the Tower Apartments, around 7:20 p.m., police said. A black man in his 20s broke into an apartment, but was struck once in the head by a bullet fired by the homeowner and pronounced dead at 7:10 p.m., police said. Two firearms were recovered, authorities said.
