Pedestrian Seriously Injured In Leesburg Crash, Witnesses Sought Police in Loudoun County are looking to speak with anyone who witnessed a serious pedestrian crash Thanksgiving weekend. A man was struck by a vehicle around 530 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 25 near the Leesburg Public Safety Center, local police said. The pedestrian was crossing Plaza Street NE in a westbound direction in a marked crosswalk, police said. The driver remained on-scene and is cooperating with police. Young Motorcyclist Killed In Thanksgiving Crash Was 'Extraordinary,' Bethlehem Family Says Support is on the rise for the family of a motorcyclist killed in a Lehigh County crash on Thanksgiving. More than $5,800 had been raised on a GoFundMe as of Saturday, Nov. 25 for the family of Luis Enrique Rivera Ocasio, of Bethlehem. NJ Couple Killed In VA Crash: 'Really Bad Dream' A New Jersey couple was killed in a crash in Virginia last week, according to their obituaries and news reports. Corey Wetmore, 28, of Brick Township, and Brittany Forsythe, 26, of Browns Mills, both died in the Halifax County crash on Wednesday, Nov. 15, Virginia State Police said. Wetmore was heading south in a 2006 GMC Envoy on a Virginia street around 8:15 p.m., when the vehicle ran off the right shoulder, State Police said. Fairfax Fire Lt. Travis Traynham Dies On Thanksgiving Fairfax County Fire & Rescue is mourning the loss of one of their own. Lt. Travis Traynham died while off duty on Thanksgiving, the department said. "Lt. Traynham will be greatly missed. Chief Butler and FCFRD extend our deepest condolences to Lt. Elizabeth Woman's Killer Captured: Cops Gerard Manning has been captured. The 30-year-old man wanted in the killing of Victoria Myers on Thanksgiving morning in Elizabeth has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder, Union County Prosecutor William A. Daniel said. Myers was found dead on Mravlag Manor Thursday morning, Nov. 23, officials said. Manning was on the lam ever since, and was arrested Friday, Nov. 24, Daniel said.
