7-Car Crash: 1 Victim Airlifted In Route 80 Pileup One person was airlifted to an area hospital in a crash involving seven vehicle on Route 80 Thursday, Dec. 14, authorities said. The crash happened just after 2 p.m. on the westbound side in Knowlton Township, New Jersey State Police Detective Jeffrey Lebron said. The victim airlifted was a passenger in one of the vehicles. No other injuries were reported and the accident remains under investigation.

Man Wanted For Assaulting Woman, 31, During Drive In Virginia: Cops A Virginia man is wanted on charges of malicious wounding after police said he assaulted a woman while the two were driving together, police said. Joshua Nicholas Tyler, 26, was driving with the 31-year-old woman when the two began arguing Tuesday night, Dec. 12 on Prince William Parkway, Prince William County police said. During the encounter, Tyler struck the victim several times before she was able to park the vehicle and contact police. Tyler left on foot before police arrived on scene. Trevor died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Dec. 12, leaving behind his young daughter, Alessi, according to his obituary. Overturned Truck Blocks Traffic On Routes 1&9 An overturned truck on the US 1&9 truck route blocked traffic Thursday, Dec. 14. It happened around 11 a.m. in the right lanes on the eastbound side, south of Route 440. The roadway remained partially closed as of noon.

Kitchen Tool Was Weapon Of Choice For Arlington Woman: Cops A 57-year-old woman has been charged after wounding another female with a kitchen tool, police in Arlington said. Shavonne Duncan is believed to have hurt the victim, whom she knew, during an argument that escalated on the 2800 block of 9th Street S around 7:20 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, authorities said. Police said only that Duncan used a "sharp kitchen tool." Medics treated the victim on scene for non-life threatening injuries and she declined transport to the hospital. Duncan was found on scene and arrested without incident, and charged with Malicious Wounding.

Stalker Follows Woman Home From MGM Casino Parking Lot, Assaults Her In Virginia: Cops A 29-year-old man was arrested for following a woman from a casino parking lot in Maryland to her home in Fairfax County, VA, where he assaulted her and tried breaking into her home, police said. Antiero Ebai Menyoli, of Oxon Hill, MD, approached the woman, a complete stranger, as she left the MGM National Harbor and spoke briefly, before the woman got into her car and drove home, Fairfax County police said. $1M Powerball Ticket Sold Somewhere In NJ A Powerball ticket from the Wednesday, Dec. 13 drawing, winning the $1 million prize, was sold in New Jersey. Lottery officials had not yet announced where the ticket was sold as of press time. The winning numbers were 3, 8, 41, 56, and 64. The Powerball was 18.
