Motorcyclist Killed By Falling Tree On Route 46 A 32-year-old Hackettstown motorcyclist was killed after he was struck by a falling tree on Route 46 on Sunday, Oct. 6, authorities said. At 3:58 p.m., Travis Worrell was traveling westbound on a Honda motorcycle in White Township when a tree fell into the roadway and struck him, causing the motorcycle to overturn, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. Worrell was ejected from the motorcycle and sustained fatal injuries, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

Vehicle Goes Off Roadway On Route 80: Njdot A vehicle went off the roadway on Route 80 in Morris County on the morning of Monday, Oct. 7, authorities said. The vehicle left the roadway on Route 80 eastbound at Exit 47A in Parsippany-Troy Hills, the New Jersey Department of Transportation said. One lane is closed, the Department of Transportation said.
