At 4:50 p.m., a man exited his vehicle at Clinton Avenue and Bergen Street and accused the victim of hitting his car,  Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. Man Shot In Jersey City: Authorities A 34-year-old man was briefly hospitalized after being shot multiple times in Jersey City on the early morning of Sunday, Oct. 6, authorities said. At 3:35 a.m., the man was transported to a nearby hospital from Eastern Parkway and Garfield Avenue after he sustained non-life threatening injuries to the right buttocks, right thigh area and right wrist, Kimberly Wallace-Scalfione, a spokeswoman for the mayor's office said.  He was treated and released from the hospital on Monday, Oct. 7, Wallace-Scalfione said. Man With Dementia Missing In Belleville: Police A 72-year-old man diagnosed with dementia has been missing in Belleville since Sunday, Oct. 6, authorities said. Oscar was last seen in the area of St. Peters Church on William Street wearing a white jacket with red, yellow and blue stripes, blue jeans and blue sneakers, Belleville police said.
