Man Injured After Falling Down Embankment In Pleasantville PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- An 84-year-old man was taken to Westchester Medical Center Monday afternoon after falling down an embankment. The man was going around his deck in the rear of his yard when he fell head first down an embankment a little after noon, according to Lt. Robert Miliambro of the Mount Pleasant Police. The man crawled up six feet and was able to call for help, Miliambro said. He suffered broken fingers and superficial lacerations throughout his body, Miliambro said. Hawthorne Ambulance Corps transferred him to Westchester Medical Center, Miliambro said.

One Injured In Bus Accident In Briarcliff BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. -- One person was hospitalized following an accident involving a minibus Thursday morning in Briarcliff. The driver of the bus lost control and hit a guardrail on Route 9A at Route 100 at around 9:30 a.m., according to Lt. Robert Miliambro of the Mount Pleasant Police.
