A film columnist for WAG Magazine, Sam's moviegoing expertise has been profiled in the New York Times and he was a featured guest on VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live.

He was born on May 31, 1953 in Washington D.C. to Dr. Alfred Brockunier Jr. and Dorothy Elaine Kirk. Alfred grew up in Pelham and graduated from Pelham Memorial High School in 1971. Improvements Coming To Putnam Golf Course Following Settlement PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. - A settlement reached with Westchester Disabled on the Move will lead to improvements at the Putnam County Golf Course, designed to make it compliant with the Americans With Disabilities Act. A settlement was approved 8-0 by the Putnam County Board of Legislators at a recent meeting. Improvements will include adding handicap parking spaces, making changes to pathways, widening the door to the patio and renovating the men's and women's bathrooms. Katonah Teen Strikes Mailbox On Route 100, Charged With DWI In Yorktown YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- An 18-year-old Katonah teen was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated after he struck a mailbox on Route 100 in Yorktown early Thursday morning. The teenager's name is being withheld due to his eligibility for Youthful Offender Status. He was arrested and transported back to police headquarters, where further investigation revealed he was operating the vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or more.  He was released on his own recognizance and is due back in court on August 1.

The Armonk-based company unveiled its second quarter earnings report on Tuesday, with revenues declining for the 21st straight quarter.
