Police ID Victim Killed In Virginia Crash Involving Speeding Car Speed was to blame in a multi-car pileup that killed one man and injured three others in Woodbridge on Tuesday afternoon, May 17, authorities said. One Dead, One Critical In Beltway Crash: Report Police closed a portion of the Capital Beltway Tuesday night, May 17, to investigate a serious crash that left one person dead and another seriously injured.  Virginia State Police in Tysons said several cars crashed on the inner loop of I-495 near Chain Bridge Road just after 10 p.m., NBC4 reports.  Paramedics rushed one person to the hospital and another person who declared dead in the pile-up. Manassas Boy, 7, Injured In Hit-and-Run Crash Police are searching for the driver of a gold SUV that struck a 7-year-old on Tuesday afternoon, May 17, and then sped off.  The boy was playing near Academic Loop in Manassas just after 3 p.m. when he ran onto the road and into the SUV's path, WTOP reported. The driver allegedly paused for a moment before driving away. Prince William County police didn't detail the boy's injuries, but officers told the news station that he's expected to make a full recovery.
