Manassas Gunman Shoots Cars, Homes: Report A gunman fired bullets into multiple cars and apartments in Manassas earlier this week, police said. The incident began at about 9 p.m. Tuesday when a caller reported a fight in a parking lot in the 10300 block of Seventh Regiment Drive, a police report said. But as officers were making their way to break it up, several more people called in reports of shots being fired in that area. When police arrived they found bullet holes in two parked cars. Fairfax Highway Closed To Clear Police-Involved Wreck Scene: Report Fairfax County police have closed the northbound lanes of Richmond Highway Thursday morning as they investigate a wreck that involved a police car, police said. The T-bone wreck happened just after 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of Lockheed Boulevard and Richmond Highway in Groveton. Police have closed northbound traffic along Richmond Highway, beginning at Arlington Drive. Stafford Woman Drove Drunk To Pick Up Child At Daycare: Police A Stafford woman drove drunk to pick up a child from daycare on Tuesday, May 24, authorities said. Elena Kuypers, 31, was arrested at 5 p.m. after a concerned commuter called deputies about a suspected drunk driver, Stafford County Sheriff's Office said. Deputies tracked her down to Children of America daycare where she was picking up a kid. Amazon Fresh Plans NoVA Store Opening Shoppers in Crystal City will have more options for their groceries this summer as a new Amazon Fresh is set to open. Company officials told ArlNow they were finishing work on the 1550 Crystal Drive location. Three Kids Orphaned After Parents Found Dead In Ashburn Home: Report Support is building for three children whose parents were found dead at their Ashburn home earlier this week. UPDATE: The deaths of Mariam A. Farouk Kamal and John Sharmoukh have been deemed a murder suicide. The married couple was identified by their church as Mariam and John. The two were from Egypt and shared three children together, NBC Washington reports. 54-Year-Old Woman Killed In Fairfax County Crash: Police Police say alcohol and speed were likely factors in an early morning wreck in Falls Church that killed a 54-year-old woman and sent two others to the hospital. Sex Offender Busted Lingering Near School Bus Stop in North Stafford: Police A 45-year-old sex offender lied to deputies about his identity when he was caught hanging around a school bus stop earlier week, authorities said.
