Fleeing Driver Crashes Into State Troopers in Prince William County: Police Authorities said that a man fleeing arrest crashed into multiple state trooper cruisers Friday, May 26, during a several-mile-long chase.  The pursuit began in Warren County when a car refused to stop for police just before 8 a.m. Though, it's unclear why police wanted to pull him over. Murder Suicide: Details Emerge In Ashburn Parents' Deaths The deaths of two parents found dead at an Ashburn home have been ruled a murder-suicide, authorities announced. John Sharmoukh, 45, and Mariam A. Farouk Kamal, 31, were found dead at their home on Old Line Terrace just before 9:30 on Tuesday, May 24, authorities in Loudoun County said. Though, investigators have not said who was the aggressor in the slayings.  Reports say detectives found the body of Sharmoukh on the the front lawn of the house. Missing Elderly Virginia Woman Could Be In Serious Danger: Police (Update) Police announced they have located Sherrie Ann Smith. She is safe.  Earlier, Virginia state police issued a statewide alert to find her because they believed she was in serious danger.  Smith, 68, left her home in Virginia Beach at 3 a.m. Thursday, May 26. She suffers cognitive impairments, which searchers feared posed a serious threat to her health and safety.  Police located her just before 1 p.m.

Manassas Gunman Shoots Cars, Homes: Report A gunman fired bullets into multiple cars and apartments in Manassas earlier this week, police said.  The incident began at about 9 p.m. Tuesday when a caller reported a fight in a parking lot in the 10300 block of Seventh Regiment Drive, a police report said.
