Ridgewood Special Disabilities Cheerleading Program Launches In January RIDGEWOOD, N.J — Ridgewood is launching a new "Dream Team" cheerleading program for children with disabilities.  The program is was created by Allstar Cheerleader and RIdgewood Girl Scout Sarah Bradley, who runs Sharing The Arts, a 501(c)3 non-profit preforming arts program. It will meet once a week every Wednesday in January (1/6, 1/13, 1/20, 1/27) from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Gym 3 at Ridgewood High School. Lyndhurst, North Arlington Police Receive Grants For Bullet-Proof Vests LYNDHURST, N.J. — Lyndhurst, North Arlington, East Rutherford, and Rutherford police departments received grant money from the Department of Justice to purchase body armor as part of the Bulletproof Vest Partnership Grant Act of 1998. NorthJersey.com reports that East Rutherford received $4,364 to purchase 10 vests, Lyndhurst was awarded some $4,361 to buy 10 vests, North Arlington was received $2,736 to purchase six vests, and Rutherford received $2,016 to purchase five vests.
