All pets must be on a leash or carrier and be at least four months old. Patricia Sanford of "Ruff Cuts Pet Grooming Salon" in Mahwah told Daily Voice she knows how it feels to not be able to afford to save your pet's life.  In 2006, her beloved Lhasa Apso Rollie required $7,000 life saving surgery. "I remembered how devastating it felt that I couldn't save him because I didn't have the money," Sanford said. Glen Rock Valentine's Day 5K Aids People With Disabilities GLEN ROCK, N.J. — Nonprofit Community Options, Inc. is hosting a Valentine's Day 5K to help people with disabilities in Glen Rock on Feb. 13. Runners, walkers and especially couples are invited to Glen Rock Pool at 390 Doremus Ave., at 8 a.m. for "Cupid's Chase" 5K. Registration is $30 before the event, or $40 on the day of the event, with all proceeds going towards housing, support services and advocacy assistance to help empower people with disabilities.
