Sandra Diamond Fox has been a journalist since 2005, working for The News-Times and The Redding Pilot prior to coming to the Daily Voice. She has a bachelor's degree in English from Stony Brook University and a Master's degree in publishing from Pace University. She married with four teenage children and is a competitive runner and avid exerciser.

Pelham MS Eighth-Grader Becomes National Geographic Society Semifinalist PELHAM, N.Y. -- Pelham Middle School eighth-grader Matyas Spunberg is the National Geographic Society Semifinalist. He will represent Pelham at the 2016 New York State National Geographic State Bee in April. Easton Police Department Taking Part In 'Walk A Mile In Her Shoes' Event EASTON, Conn. -- The Easton Police Department is taking part in an event Saturday, April 30, called "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes," which asks men to walk 1 mile in womens' high-heeled shoes to support the March Against Violence.The fourth annual walk will take place at 8:30 a.m. in Downtown Fairfield. Briarcliff Junior Earns Recognition In Scholastic Art, Writing Awards BRIARCLIFF, N.Y. -- Briarcliff High School junior Devon Bombassei earned recognition in the 2016 Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. Bombassei’s personal essay, “Caution: Do NOT Associate Losing with Dying” received an honorable mention nod in the Hudson-to-Housatonic region. The award winners are selected by a jury panel of professional novelists, editors, teachers, poets, librarians, journalists and other professionals from a pool of approximately 1,800 submissions. Bombassei will be honored along with the other regional winners at an awards ceremony March 6 at Manhattanville College.
