Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

It will be mostly sunny and pleasant on Saturday, Aug. 5, with a high temperature in the low 80s, according to the National Weather Service. Double-Fatal Hit-Run Crash: Victims Struck By SUV In Front Of Long Island Shopping Center Two men were killed in an overnight crash in front of a Long Island shopping center. It happened around 11:20 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4 in Farmingville. The victims were crossing the roadway in front of 755 Horseblock Road, when they were struck by a vehicle that fled the scene northwest on Horseblock Road, Suffolk County Police said. Alert Issued For Missing Massapequa Woman A Long Island woman has gone missing and authorities are asking the public's help in locating her. Dorothy Jenkofsky, age 49, was last seen on foot in Massapequa at the intersection of North Suffolk Avenue and Hicksville Road at about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1.
