Hudson Valley Girl, 12, Has Been Missing Nearly Week Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a Hudson Valley girl who has been missing for nearly a week. Miamor Rivera, 12, of Poughkeepsie, was last seen on Saturday, Jan. 25, according to Poughkeepsie Police. She may have traveled to New Paltz or Middletown, police said. Rivera’s nose and ears are pierced, and she may wear glasses. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Poughkeepsie Police Department at 845-451-4000. Pedestrian Hit, Killed Near Crossgates Mall In Albany A man was struck and killed while walking near a Capital Region shopping mall. The collision occurred in Guilderland, near the intersection of Western Avenue and Lawton Terrace, just yards from the Crossgates Mall, at around 6:40 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30. Timothy Gapp was crossing the street when he was struck by a vehicle, Guilderland Police said.
