Ambler PD Busts 'Uncooperative' Registered Sex Offender A registered sex offender is behind bars following a five-month investigation conducted by Ambler Borough police who discovered that he had no address on record, authorities said. Warnersville resident, Shawn Rager, was charged on Dec. 23 after failing to comply with sexual offender requirements, police said. The Ambler Borough police investigation included hours of surveillance, search warrants, interviews, and assistance from the Berks County Probation and Parole Department. Rager is currently sitting in Berks County Prison awaiting his preliminary hearing.

Bucks County Expands Covid-19 Testing At Community College Sites In a response to recent upswings in post-holiday COVID infections, Bucks County officials announced a three-site testing expansion with the help of Bucks Community College. Bucks County Health Department Opens First Vaccination Clinic The first COVID-19 vaccination clinic opened this week to emergency medical personnel and healthcare workers, health officials announced. The Bucks County Health Department opened the appointment-only clinic in Langhorne on Tuesday as part of Phase 1A inoculation efforts. It is exclusively for healthcare workers who received invitations from the county Health Department or from their employers, officials said. Ambler Police Seek Help Finding Suspect Who Passed Counterfeit Check Police in Montgomery County seek the public's help locating a fugitive wanted for passing a counterfeit check at Ambler Savings bank. Mark H. Baker has a warrant out for his arrest for an alleged forgery in November, the Ambler Borough Police Department said. Baker faces several charges including forgery, theft by deception and possessing instruments of crime, police said.
