Six Flags Water Slide Rider Hospitalized In Labor Day Incident A park-goer is to blame for leaving another visitor injured after riding a slide at the Six Flags Great Adventure Hurricane Harbor water park on Labor Day, news reports say. One guest jumped out of the tube, causing it to overturn on the Tornado funnel slide, park spokeswoman Kristin Fitzgerald told NJ Advance Media. The adult victim was hospitalized with back pain, the Asbury Park Press reports. The 75-foot-high slide drops visitors down a 132-foot tunnel at about 35 feet per second, the Six Flags website says. The ride requires four-person rafts.

Motorcyclist Seriously Hurt In East Hempfield Crash A motorcyclist was left with serious injuries after a crash in East Hempfield Friday, authorities said. Albert Cheeks, 47, of Randallstown, Maryland was riding his motorcycle eastbound on Route 30 near the Marietta Avenue overpass around 1 p.m. when he rear-ended an 80-year-old Lancaster woman's car, according to East Hempfield police. The impact left Cheeks with serious injuries, police said. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Heroin, Fentanyl, Guns, Seized From Reading Man In Drug Raid, Authorities Say Guns and several packets of heroin, fentanyl, and cocaine were seized in the arrest of a man who county detectives say was trafficking drugs in Reading, authorities said. Khalil Bell, 42, in July was accused of selling drugs to customers on Spring Garden and Muhlenberg Streets, according to the Berks County Detectives Office. Thief Stabbed Arresting Coatesville Officer In Head, Authorities Say A 20-year-old man was charged with stabbing an officer in the head at a Coatesville store on Friday, authorities said. Officers were in the process of arresting Michael White, of Manheim, for stealing from the Turkey Hill store on Kings Highway when he shoved and stabbed 35-year-old Coatesville officer William Cahill, the Chester County District Attorney's Office announced. PD: Speeding Driver Airlifted After Car Rolls Over On Route 422 In Chester County A driver who police say was speeding down Route 422 in Chester County Friday was airlifted from the scene after their car rolled over, authorities said. IDA: Montgomery County Coroner IDs 3 People Who Died In Storm Three Montgomery County residents who died as the remnants of Hurricane Ida passed through Pennsylvania have been identified, authorities said Friday. Teen Gunman Charged In Lancaster Killing, Authorities Say A teenager who police say fatally shot a 23-year-old man in Lancaster last month was apprehended Thursday.
