Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Home Depot Grand Opening Features 'Neighborhood Night' In Stamford The only new Home Depot opening this year happens to be  on West Main Street in Stamford. The new store kicked off its grand opening celebration on Wednesday night, April 25 when Stamford Mayor David Martin led a  "board-cutting ceremony."  The event also included tours of the 140,000-square-foot store, a Kids Workshop and free food and refreshments.  On Thursday, April 26, Home Depot planned to offer vendor demonstrations, giveaways and free lunch for customers. The store -- located at 1925 W. Main St. -- employs about 270 Home Depot associates.

Eversource Launches $80M Tree Trimming Project Eversource has invested $80 million in tree-trimming projects across 4,000 miles of electric lines in Connecticut this year.
