Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

More Gunfire In Trigger-happy Trenton: 7th Shooting In 9 Days Gunfire wounded two more people Tuesday night in Trenton -- the city's 7th shooting in nine days. Both victims were hospitalized after one was shot in the shoulder and the other in the foot at Kingsbury Towers in Kingsbury Square around 6 p.m.,  a police spokesman said. The victims suffered non-life threatening injuries and remained in stable condition on Wednesday, the spokesman said. Update: Florence Firefighters Respond To Blaze -- Twice UPDATED: Florence Township firefighters and EMS crews responded to a house fire on Tuesday afternoon -- and again early Wednesday. The fire was contained to the rear of the home at 628 W. 2nd St., officials said on Facebook.  Smoke could be seen from several blocks away about 4:30 p.m. About 1 a.m. Wednesday, the fire rekindled and firefighters were called back to extinguish the blaze.
