Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Toddler Struck By Car In South Jersey Driveway Police and EMS crews were called to a driveway in Gloucester County on Wednesday morning after a child was struck by a car, authorities said. Swedesboro police responded to Wilshire Boulevard about 10 a.m., according to initial reports. An unconfirmed report said that a 2-year-old boy was bleeding from the mouth. Pedestrian Struck, Killed On Route 9 In Central Jersey Route 9 in Middlesex County was close for several hours late Tuesday after a fatal pedestrian crash, authorities said. At about 10:40 p.m., Old Bridge police officers responded to reports of an injured person in the 1100 block of Route 9. Emergency responders found an unconscious and unresponsive person suffering severe injuries after being struck by a vehicle, according to initial reports.  The victim was pronounced dead a short time later.
