Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Suspected Camden Drug Dealer Indicted In Fatal Fentanyl Overdose, Burlington Prosecutor Says A 31-year-old alleged drug dealer from South Jersey has been indicted for causing the fatal overdose of a Burlington County woman, authorities said. A Burlington County Grand Jury returned the indictment against Tareese Brown of Ablett Village in Camden, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina. Atlantic City Bicyclist Crashes, Arrested With Stolen Handgun, Police Say A 22-year-old bicyclist from Atlantic City was arrested on a weapons charge after colliding with a car, authorities said. After the crash, a reportedly witness told police that a handgun dropped out of the bicycle rider's satchel, an Atlantic City police spokesman said. 5 People Hurt, 2 Motorists Airlifted After Central Jersey Crash At least five people were seriously hurt, including two motorists who were pinned, authorities said. The crash occurred about 1 p.m. near 82 Arneytown-Hornerstown Road in Upper Freehold, according to initial reports.
