Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Fugitive, 23, Arrested In Central Jersey Shooting New Jersey State Police and US Marshals have arrested a man wanted in a shooting earlier this month, authorities said.  Jonathan Rodriguez, 23, of Perth Amboy was a suspect in a shooting that caused serious injury to a victim in Perth Amboy on Feb. 5, State Police said. 'Lost For Words': Victim Killed In Camden Shooting Was Loved By Many A community in Camden County is mourning the loss of a 31-year-old man killed in a weekend shooting. Kadeem McBride was shot on the 2700 block of Mount Ephraim Avenue around 3:55 p.m. in Camden, according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez. Shooting Investigated In Central Jersey: Prosecutor Authorities are investigating a shooting that took place in Perth Amboy. On Friday, Feb. 11 at 5:24 P.M., Perth Amboy police responded to the train tracks near New Brunswick Avenue for a shooting.  Police found Jonathan Molina, 22, of Perth Amboy with a gunshot wound, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Acting Chief Larry Cattano of the Perth Amboy Police Department. Man, 34, Shot Dead In Atlantic County: Prosecutor A 34-year-old man was shot to death in Atlantic County, authorities said.
